This filter (found the link on coldlogostic's blog ) is quite interesting.. I just have had the opportunity to try it a little, but as I said; it's really quite interesting. It does some wonderful things to the colours and depth in the photo. I've updloaded a pic of mine before and after. I will certainly play more with this filter; Tone Mapping from Photomatix.
I know this filter is just a bit in a process, but I think it can do some wonderful things as a 'stand alone' too...
before filter
after the filter, hey! I didn't know this pic stored so many details:)
Yes, a great tutorial indeed..

So at last I got the film processed... 2 weeks.. they had to send it to Sweden (ouch! lol!) to get it done. The camera used is an Agfa Click 1, ToyCam, from late 1950.
I don't know what to say about the pics, I had a hard time finding any motives at all.. I feel myself set back 50 years in time lol! A strange feeling...
Didn't go down town this time, it's only local :)
This here is a bench I pass on my everyday walk it's kinda scary to see it like this, I really have to take a good look at it tomorrow, hope nobody will notice *laughs*.
Carwash... I was hoping to get in kinda rainbow here... not exactly that... Not such an interesting car either, but with the snow and weather we have here in winter, it's better with an appropriate car for that..
Another carcleaning pic... Applied a filter to this to get it a little
more interesting..
Effect from playing in PS cs3
On the other side of the road from the car wash,
mmmm coffee :)
Brother in law's car, I was heading over to shoot his
Corvette, but it was away to be repaired (wink ;) old cars.....),
so I shot his PT Cruiser instead...
Another one of the same... cars are so fun to shoot :)
Applied a filter to this one..
Same pic as above, but no filter applied, this is my fav. pic
from this film... mmm.. not such a stupid cam this...
A road I walk every day... OMG, sure we are in 2007???
I'm confused...
The (really) old school just a stonethrow from where I live:)
Looking up.....
In the forest nearby here... the shadow in the pic's middle
is a fence... It's water with ice on it.. funny to think about this was only
2 weeks ago and now it's summer :)
And this was about it.. I got 10 pics out of a film of 12.. I really am thinking more and more of this, I DO like it... to use these oldies cams. I'm so thankful that I was set on this idea :)
By the way, May 1. I was out trying my Olympus Trip camera, so I'm looking forward to see the results :)
Thanks for looking :)
A.
I bought one roll of film today. Am going to try my newly discovered Agfa Click tomorrow. I'm really desperately excited, I don't even know how to load the film into the cam...yet.. hehehe... wish me luck, lol!
There will take some time to show the results, if any, this type of film can't be processed in 1 day, have to send it away.. hmm...
